I am very happy to see the heartfelt response from Dechen centres and students to the recent tragedy in Nepal. In this respect it is very pleasing that donations have been collected to secure repairs for Thegchen Legshey Ling, Karma Thinley Rinpoche’s gompa in Kathmandu.
Now it is my wish that further support should be given to the appeals launched by Sakya Dolma Phodrang, as requested by His Holiness Sakya Trizin, and Infinite Compassion, the charity established by late Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche. Both of these organizations are engaged in immediate response to the needs of people in that stricken country.
