Buddhism has been present in the West for nearly a half-century now. Lama Jampa Thaye, himself a Western meditation master and scholar, has the experience and know-how to show us what is at stake in the transmission of Buddhism in the West: what have we really understood, what benefits have we gained, and to what pitfalls have we become victims?
