The forty verses are explained by Lama Jampa and direct advice that can be applied in everyday life - they are often referred to as "advice from Atisha's Heart".
Sunday 11:00 to 13:00
Initiation of Yellow Dzambala
Lama Jampa will give the initiation from the lineage of Bari Lotsawa. Dzambala is one of the most important vajrayana deities associated with the increase of prosperity and positive conditions for spiritual practice.
Sunday 15:00 to 17:00
Initiation of Green Tara
Lama Jampa will give the initiation from the lineage of Atisha. Meditation on Green Tara is one of the most widely practised in Tibetan Buddhism. The goddess herself is the embodiment of the liberating activity of all the buddhas. As such her initiation and meditation are especially effective means of awakening one’s innate capacity for enlightened compassion.
Please note that in order to receive these initiations one must have made a formal commitment to the Buddhist path through having taken refuge. Please contact the centre if you would like more information about this.
