Parting from the Four Attachments

The Parting from the Four Attachments is one of the most famous teachings in the Sakya tradition. Famed for its simplicity and directness, the text contains the direct teaching on how to be free from disturbing emotions and ignorance of the true nature of reality.

Initiation of White Sarasvati

2:30 - 4:30 pm

White Sarasvati is famous as one of the main wisdom deities in Vajrayana Buddhism and is the patroness of poetry and music. She is the feminine aspect of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. In Tibetan paintings she is often depicted holding a lute.
