The Friendly Letter by Nagarjuna

The great Indian Buddhist master Nagarjuna (1st - 2nd century C.E.) wrote his celebrated poem "The Friendly Letter" as a gift of advice to a South Indian king. This poetic presentation of the fundamental teachings of the Buddha, is remarkable for its concise style and imagery and is one of the most widely quoted sources in other texts on the Mahayana path.
