Teachings on Jetsun Drakpa Gyaltsen's Eight Dream-Like Experiences

The teaching of the Eight Dreamlike Experiences of the Dharma was written in the 12th century by the Sakya Master Jetsun Drakpa Gyaltsen, the third of the five Venerable Masters of the Sakya tradition. Drakpa Gyaltsen was known for giving brief teachings in which he made important points. The eight points covered in this text address such issues as the importance of finding a space in our lives to meditate and study, letting go of attachments, turning away from arguments and distractions that could harm our practice, and proper understanding of the experiences of bliss and emptiness that occur in meditation.
