From March 16th through March 21st over four hundred people from many different countries, including students from Dechen, attended teachings given by His Holiness the Seventeenth Karmapa, Lama Jampa Thaye, Professor Sempa Dorje and Khenpo Mriti in KIBI in Delhi.
His Holiness’ programme opened with the initiation of Vajrasattva and closed with that of Chenrezik, while in between he taught from Shantideva’s Entering the Path of a Bodhisattva. Lama Jampa bestowed teachings each day on the 5th Shamarpa, Konchog Yenlag’s “Seven points of Mind Training”. The entire week concluded with a Gala Dinner attended by His Holiness, with a presentation on the new KIBI website and the preview of a new film about Shamar Rinpoche.

Lama Jampa and Dechen Dolma returned on March 22nd to London where Lama Jampa will be teaching this Saturday, March 28th. For details of this event please click here. Following this teaching, Lama Jampa will travel to Los Angeles to commence his teaching tour of the West Coast of the USA. Lama Jampa will visit a number of Bodhipath Centres and Sakya Samten Ling in Los Angeles.
