Last weekend (30-31 January) Lama Jampa visited Sakya Dechen Ling, Stuttgart. On Saturday he gave the teachings on "An Instruction on Parting from the Four Attachments", an introduction to the graduated path of meditation composed by Nubkyi Rigzin Drak in the thirteenth century.
On Sunday Lama Jampa gave the initiation of Manjusri Arapatsana from the lineage of Bari Lotsawa.
Lama Jampa will return to Stuttgart at the end of June to teach "Advice to the people of Ngari". These are oral instructions given by Atisha and preserved in collections of teachings by early Kadam masters. They offer us an intimate and pragmatic guide to the spiritual life. Lama Jampa will also be giving an initiation of Dzambala.
