Lama Jampa continues tour of Germany with teachings in Stuttgart

September 28, 2016

Following his trip to Renchen-Ulm Lama Jampa travelled to Stuttgart to give teachings at Sakya Dechen Ling. He began on Friday, 23th September with the second part of "Advice from Atisha to the People of Ngari".

On Saturday Lama Jampa taught the first part of the "The Three Visions", a text by Ngorchen Konchog Lhundrup. His Holiness Sakya Trizin explains in the foreword of the text:
This text is like a staircase for those fortunate practitioners who desire liberation, an excellent medicine that dispels the suffering of sentient beings, and a valuable article that even surpasses a wish-fulfilling gem.

On Sunday Lama Jampa bestowed the initiation of "White Tara" from the lineage of Shakyashree Bhadra.

During his ten days in Germany Lama Jampa found time to visit "Hegelhaus" in Stuttgart. G. W. F. Hegel (born in stuttgart 27 August 1770; died in Berlin 14. November 1831) was a German philosopher and an important figure of German idealism.

He also enjoyed a tour of Weissenburg Park in Stuttgart and Literaturmuseum in Marbach.
