The first week of Lama Jampa’s teachings at Sakya Changlochen Ling in the Dordogne will run from Friday 4 August until Thursday 10 August. The course will begin with two days of initiations and practice, followed by four days of teachings on Diamond Sky: Preparing for the Vajrayana. On one of these days His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche will make a one day visit to Changlochen during which he will bestow the initiation of Red Saraswati. Details of this auspicious event will be confirmed nearer the time.
From Friday 11 to Tuesday 15 August Lama Jampa will be attending the teachings being given by His Holiness Karmapa at nearby Dhagpo Kagyu Ling.
The second part of the Dechen summer course at Sakya Changlochen Ling will be a shorter event, running from Wednesday 16 August until Friday 18 August . During these three days Lama Jampa will give teachings on the Reply to Nyimo Gomchen, Sakya Pandita’s famous text written to clear away confusion and uncertainty about the dharma. The course will end with the initiation of Red Tara on the afternoon of Friday 18 August.
