Buddhists in Manchester and beyond were fortunate to sit in the presence of the erudite scholar and meditation master Lama Jampa Thaye on his recent visit to Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre.
Over the first weekend of July Lama Jampa continued to teach the highly accomplished literary work of the 9th Situ Rinpoche in which he comments on the 3rd Karmapa’s Mahamudra Aspiration Prayer.
At the end of the weekend, the permission initation of White Dzambala was bestowed by Lama Jampa to enable those with an altruistic motivation to work to liberate others from material and spiritual poverty.
Sangha involved in the Mikyo Dorje Institute development offered the Mendel Tensum to Lama Jampa for his long life and for the swift accomplishment of that project.
