This weekend’s event was Lama Jampa’s second visit to the BodhiPath European retreat centre, in the idyllic surroundings of Renchen-Ulm on the edge of the Black Forest, to continue teachings on Zhentong Madhyamaka. On this occasion Lama Jampa taught the first section of Jamgon Kongtrol’s text ‘Rays of the Stainless Vajra Moon’.
Lama Jampa explained the text in detail and emphasized that the foundations of moral discipline, maintenance of vows and generating merit are the essential basis for any achievement of the realizations of Mahamudra, Dzogchen or any of the profound view teachings.
The weekend was well attended with around 40 students from Germany, France and Switzerland and the BodhiPath coordinators warmly invited Lama Jampa to return soon to complete the teaching.
