Lama Jampa gives Buddhist Teachings from the Sakya Tradition in Germany

Sakya Dechen Ling, Stuttgart

Lama Jampa returned to Stuttgart for the last weekend in June to spend time with Dechen sangha there and to give teachings. On Saturday 30 June Lama Jampa continued the teachings on the "Nang Sum" (Three Visions) of Ngorchen Konchog Lhundrup at the Dechen centre of Sakya Dechen Ling in Stuttgart.

The Three Visions by Ngorchen Konchog Llundrup

First Lama Jampa gave an overview where he explained that how we see and perceive the world depends solely on our mind. When the mind is obscured by the kleshas (disturbing emotions) and ignorance we possess the impure vision, or impure perception.

On the path we possess the vision of experience, and these instructions are given so that we produce noble aspiration for the final vision, the pure perception of a Buddha, who sees reality as it is.

Initiation of Manjusri

On Sunday 1 July Lama Jampa bestowed the initiation of Manjusri Arapatsana to people from the wider Buddhist sangha of Germany, who gathered in Stuttgart for the occasion.

Lama Jampa's next visit to Stuttgart will be in September 2018 when he will teach at both Bodhi Path Renchen Ulm and Sakya Dechen Ling. See Events page for more details.
