In his recent visit, to Manchester, Lama Jampa completed teaching Gampopa’s magnus opus, the Thar Gyen, known in English as the Jewel Ornament of Liberation.  This graduated path teachings contains all of the essential mahayana instructions to support dharma studies and provide spiritual nourishment for a lifetime.

People gathered from near and far in Marylebone, central London on Saturday 19 November to receive teachings of the Sakya tradition from Lama Jampa.

Earlier this month, three and a half years since his last visit, Sakya Dolma Ling's (Dechen Mexico) sangha welcomed our teacher Lama Jampa Thaye back to Mexico City.

On Wednesday October 19 Lama Jampa and Dechen Dolma arrived in Los Angeles for a two week visit, hosted by Sakya Samten Ling.

Following a warm invitation from the local Bodhi Path centre, Lama Jampa arrived in Prague late in the evening on Thursday 2nd October to begin teachings on the Namshe Yeshe, Distinguishing Consciousness and Primordial Wisdom.

On the first day of October Lama Jampa Thaye returned to Bristol for a day of teachings on liberation.

On Friday evening, 16th September, of his arrival in Germany, Lama Jampa gave a profound and extensive presentation on Rebirth at the Stuttgart Sakya center for both established practitioners and newcomers alike.

Lama Jampa Thaye visited Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire on the 10th September 2022 to begin a series of teachings on the Union of the Great Seal and the Great Perfection.

On Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August, Sakya Dechen Ling in London, supported by Sakya Thinley Rinchen Ling in Bristol and many other Dechen centres, were delighted to host two days of teachings with His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche.

Following on from the general introduction to the Vajrayana given over the course of a weekend at Dhagpo, Lama Jampa remained for a further five days to continue the teaching and transmission for the authoritative treatise on the ‘Tantra Sets’ composed by the great Sakya master Sonam Tsemo (1142-82).

Over the weekend of 30-31 July, Lama Jampa Thaye gave teachings on the Vajrayana at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in the Dordogne, France, in order to clarify what the tantras actually are, where they came from, for whom they were composed and how to practice them.

From 17 to 29 July, Lama Jampa led two weeks of teachings and group practice at Dechen's European retreat centre, Sakya Changlochen Ling. Under blazing blue skies, over 80 people came from far and wide to further their own dharma practice and connect with friends both old and new.

On the weekend of 9-10 July, UK and international sangha gathered together in Manchester to receive Lama Jampa’s exposition and reading transmission of Gampopa’s final chapters on the fourth main topic of the Jewel Ornament of Liberation: the Paths and Bhumis.

On Saturday 4 June, Sakya Buddhist Centre Bristol welcomed Lama Jampa Thaye to give a day of teachings on the 8th century Buddhist master, Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche.

Lama Jampa arrived for a short stay at Sakya Dechen Ling Stuttgart, en route to Italy. After his visit to Stuttgart, Lama Jampa travelled across the Alps to give teachings at a Bodhi-path retreat centre in Bordo.

On Saturday 21st May Lama Jampa was in the beautiful English county of Yorkshire to give teachings from the Kagyu tradition.

Last weekend, Lama Jampa gave a full day of teachings from the Tibetan Sakya tradition. The location was the peaceful hall at the Hellenic Centre in Marylebone, London. Buddhists gathered from across the UK and Europe to receive these precious teachings.

On Saturday 5 March people from across the UK and Europe gathered in Bristol to receive teachings from the Sakya tradition.
