On Friday 3 March Lama Jampa had the honour of giving the Welcome Address to the attendees of the 2023 Karmapa Public Course at KIBI - the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute.

This weekend in London, Lama Jampa continued with the teaching and transmission of Sakya Pandita’s text ‘Discriminating the Three Vows’ (Tib: Dom Sum Rabs Gye). 

Sakya Dechen Ling was very happy to once again welcome Lama Jampa to Stuttgart for his annual winter visit this year from 17 to 19 February.

Over the weekend of the 11th and 12th February, Lama Jampa Thaye gave two days of extraordinary dharma teachings from the Karma Kagyu tradition.

From Friday, 27 to Sunday, 29 January, Lama Jampa gave teachings at Karma Samphel Ling, the centre of Khenpo Chodrak Tenphel, one of the four Karma Kagyu centres in Vienna.

When Sapan wrote “Discriminating the Three Vows” there was a great deal of confusion in Tibet about how to understand and practice the Buddha’s teachings so the text was written out of great compassion in order to dispel misunderstandings.

We are happy to announce that two weekends of teaching have been added to Lama Jampa’s 2023 summer and autumn programme.

In his recent visit, to Manchester, Lama Jampa completed teaching Gampopa’s magnus opus, the Thar Gyen, known in English as the Jewel Ornament of Liberation.  This graduated path teachings contains all of the essential mahayana instructions to support dharma studies and provide spiritual nourishment for a lifetime.

People gathered from near and far in Marylebone, central London on Saturday 19 November to receive teachings of the Sakya tradition from Lama Jampa.

Earlier this month, three and a half years since his last visit, Sakya Dolma Ling's (Dechen Mexico) sangha welcomed our teacher Lama Jampa Thaye back to Mexico City.

On Wednesday October 19 Lama Jampa and Dechen Dolma arrived in Los Angeles for a two week visit, hosted by Sakya Samten Ling.

Following a warm invitation from the local Bodhi Path centre, Lama Jampa arrived in Prague late in the evening on Thursday 2nd October to begin teachings on the Namshe Yeshe, Distinguishing Consciousness and Primordial Wisdom.

On the first day of October Lama Jampa Thaye returned to Bristol for a day of teachings on liberation.

On Friday evening, 16th September, of his arrival in Germany, Lama Jampa gave a profound and extensive presentation on Rebirth at the Stuttgart Sakya center for both established practitioners and newcomers alike.

Lama Jampa Thaye visited Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire on the 10th September 2022 to begin a series of teachings on the Union of the Great Seal and the Great Perfection.

On Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August, Sakya Dechen Ling in London, supported by Sakya Thinley Rinchen Ling in Bristol and many other Dechen centres, were delighted to host two days of teachings with His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche.

Following on from the general introduction to the Vajrayana given over the course of a weekend at Dhagpo, Lama Jampa remained for a further five days to continue the teaching and transmission for the authoritative treatise on the ‘Tantra Sets’ composed by the great Sakya master Sonam Tsemo (1142-82).
