Over the weekend of 30-31 July, Lama Jampa Thaye gave teachings on the Vajrayana at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in the Dordogne, France, in order to clarify what the tantras actually are, where they came from, for whom they were composed and how to practice them.

From 17 to 29 July, Lama Jampa led two weeks of teachings and group practice at Dechen's European retreat centre, Sakya Changlochen Ling. Under blazing blue skies, over 80 people came from far and wide to further their own dharma practice and connect with friends both old and new.

On the weekend of 9-10 July, UK and international sangha gathered together in Manchester to receive Lama Jampa’s exposition and reading transmission of Gampopa’s final chapters on the fourth main topic of the Jewel Ornament of Liberation: the Paths and Bhumis.

On Saturday 4 June, Sakya Buddhist Centre Bristol welcomed Lama Jampa Thaye to give a day of teachings on the 8th century Buddhist master, Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche.

Lama Jampa arrived for a short stay at Sakya Dechen Ling Stuttgart, en route to Italy. After his visit to Stuttgart, Lama Jampa travelled across the Alps to give teachings at a Bodhi-path retreat centre in Bordo.

On Saturday 21st May Lama Jampa was in the beautiful English county of Yorkshire to give teachings from the Kagyu tradition.

Last weekend, Lama Jampa gave a full day of teachings from the Tibetan Sakya tradition. The location was the peaceful hall at the Hellenic Centre in Marylebone, London. Buddhists gathered from across the UK and Europe to receive these precious teachings.

On Saturday 5 March people from across the UK and Europe gathered in Bristol to receive teachings from the Sakya tradition.

Lama Jampa continued to teach Gampopa’s Jewel Ornament of Liberation, by elucidating the perfection of wisdom chapter such that ordinary people could start to make sense of this subtle and profound section.

In early February 2022, Sakya Dechen Ling Stuttgart was delighted to host Lama Jampa Thaye for a series of teachings spanning three days.

From Thursday 13 until Sunday 23 January, Lama Jampa was in Los Angeles to give teachings at the Dechen Sakya Centre in Santa Monica. The sangha were particularly joyful as the visit was a long awaited one.

Lama Jampa visited Manchester on the weekend of the 3rd-5th December, during which he continued to bestow teachings on Gampopa’s magnus opus, The Jewel Ornament of Liberation, to over 100 people in a city centre venue.

Last weekend Lama Jampa was able to return to Prague Bodhi Path to teach the final section of the Rays of the Stainless Vajra Moon by the Master Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and his delicate health, Karma Thinley Rinpoche was not able to visit Lama Jampa in London en route to Nepal this year in August. As soon as it was possible and manageable, Lama Jampa and Dechen Drolma travelled to Nepal to visit Rinpoche. For his advanced age Rinpoche is in good health, and very happy to have been able return to Nepal from Canada.

Last weekend Lama Jampa gave a full day of teachings from the Sakya tradition at Fulham Palace in London. The former residence of the Bishop from the 11th until the 20th century, its beautiful grounds formed an historic backdrop to the event.

On Friday 22nd October Lama Jampa was invited to HOME in Manchester to celebrate the publication this year of the new edition of River of Memory: Dharma Chronicles.

On Saturday 2 October over 120 people journeyed through the autumn rain to enjoy a day of teachings with Buddhist meditation master and scholar, Lama Jampa Thaye at The Future Inn, Bristol.

Despite all the current travel restrictions, Lama Jampa was somehow able to undertake a ten day tour of Dechen and Bodhi Path centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It was a wonderful occasion for all the students who had long anticipated Lama-la’s arrival.

On Saturday, September 11th, 2021, Lama Jampa Thaye made his Autumn visit to Yorkshire to transmit the final chapters of The Jewel Rosary of the Supreme Path, composed by Lord Gampopa (1074-1153).
