Lama Jampa Thaye recently gave his first Buddhist teachings in Prague, the beautiful capital city of the Czech Republic. The teachings were on Shentong, the view of Buddha Nature as expounded by the great nineteenth century Rime master Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye.

On Sunday afternoon Lama Jampa gave the initiation of Medicine Buddha from the Sky Dharma lineage of Mingyur Dorje, together with the reading transmission for the accompanying meditation practice.
At the close of the weekend Lama Jampa confirmed that this winter in Manchester he will begin teaching a Mahamudra practice text by the 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje - Pointing the Finger at the Dharmakaya.
A bright and balmy midsummer evening saw a gathering at Dechen's London book shop on Chepstow Road in Notting Hill for the world book launch of Wisdom in Exile: Buddhism and Modern Times.
